Royal Forge is establishing one of the United States' first vertically integrated, 100% renewable-energy-powered basalt processing, manufacturing, and distribution centers. Located on an 18-acre industrial site in Royal City, Washington — adjacent to the Wanapum Dam with electricity at $0.03/kWh — Royal Forge will transform locally mined basalt gravel into continuous basalt fiber roving and basalt fiber-reinforced polymer (BFRP) rebar for construction, infrastructure, and composite markets.
